Over £400 was raised in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care at a tea party held in a village hall.
The North Frodingham Country Women’s Association held the party, which was attended by around 60 people, and raised a total of £416.
All proceeds - bar £16 collected by the Daffodil Campaign boxes, will be donated directly to the Driffield branch of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Linda Bridges, secretary of the country women’s association, said: “It is a cause that is really special to our hearts.”
