Driffield Town will be planning to retain the Yorkshire League Knockout Cup on Sunday when they entertain current table-toppers York in the final.
Skipper David Brent’s outfit toppled Barnsley in the final of last year’s competition and they will be keen to snaffle a similar result against a York side that have only slipped to one defeat in the league this season.
Driffield shaped up for the match last weekend with an incomplete win against Castleford.
Captain Brent (pictured right) took three wickets as Castleford were reduced to 215-5 from their overs.
Abid Ali (93no) Ben Kohler-Cadmore (40) and Nick Hardgrave (80no) then proceeded to knock these runs off.
They are also in action on Saturday when they host Hull in the league.
With two league games remaining this season, Driffield will be keen to get some more points on the board as they plan to book a place in the top three of the division.
