Road racer James Cowton has returned home to East Yorkshire after being away for a few weeks while racing in Ireland at the North West 200 Road Races and the world-famous Isle of Man TT festival.
With it being his first time at racing at both events, he had gone there knowing a top 10 place would have been a great achievement.
However, at the NW200, the Kilham rider secured two third-placed finishes in the lightweight supertwins class and a top 10 finish in the Supersport 600 class.
At the Isle Of Man TT, Cowton finished 13th in the superstock race, and he also took 18th in the supersport 600 race.
But his best performance came in the lightweight supertwins race, where he won a place on the podium by finishing third, to round off a great display for his first ever TT experience.
Cowton will be racing next at Olivers Mount in Scarborough, at the Barry Sheene Classic Meeting on 21 and 22 June.
