Irish trainer Jim Bolger did us a good turn with a two-year-old filly on Friday -- and I’m hoping he can repeat the dose with this daughter of Sea The Stars. It might seem reckless to pitch a once-raced maiden into a Group Three, but that one race was a decent maiden that opened the new Irish Champions Weekend and she showed bags of promise. Out of a dam who is related to Bolger’s Derby winner New Approach, she has always been held in the highest regard by connections, who believe she can overcome her lack of experience in what is a distinctly ordinary renewal of the Weld Park Stakes.
