A performance by a Driffield youngster was aired to millions during The X Factor ad breaks last weekend.
Programme sponsor TalkTalk TV chose Emily Long’s rendition of ‘Come and Get It’ by John Newman to appear in one of the ‘BopHeads’ music videos on Sunday night’s show.
Emily, 12, said she was “excited” to appear on TV.
David Parslow, head of marketing at TalkTalk, said: “Fans of The X Factor love having the chance to be part of one of the nation’s favourite entertainment shows. Our BopHeads music videos are huge fun. Whether you’re rocking out with the whole family or belting out a solo ballad, anyone can get a taste of stardom.”
Like Emily, anyone can be on TV, all fans need to do is download the app from Apple Store or Google Play, choose their track to sing along to and hit record. TalkTalk will choose the best videos to be broadcast to the nation.
