Organisers of the forthcoming annual Bridlington Fair have promised more thrills than ever with the return of the annual Bridlington Statutes Fair.
Consisting of more than 24 large and small rides together with over 50 games, stalls and fairground food and confectionary units, it is still going strong as the organisers bring in bigger and better rides.
Hilderthorpe Road Coach Park will be the venue for the event which runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday October 25.
Proceedings will get under way when the fair is officially opened at 5.30pm by council officials on the first night.
The fair will then open from 5.30pm until late on weekdays, from 1pm until 10.30pm on Saturday and from 2pm until 7pm on Sunday.
The Bridlington Free Press funfair discount vouchers will be valid on all rides and attractions for the Super Sunday Promotion.
Among the thrilling attractions on offer this year will be the SuperBob, a spinning monster of a ride where riders sit in one of 20 bobsleigh cars which spin around a circular track.
Certain to get the heart beating is the country’s most thrilling rides the SuperBowl and this will be joined by the Roller Coaster.
The children are not forgotten either with a mini-carousel, a pirate boat, train ride, cups and saucers, trampolines and the stomach tingling Jumpin’ Jack among the dozen rides.
Speaking on behalf of the organisers the Showmen’s Guild, Keith Carrol said: “Admission to our fair is free and the Free Press Vouchers on the Wednesday and Sunday offer great discounts.”
