Driffield boxer Danny Little is looking to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Tom Whitfield when he returns to ring this weekend.
Welterweight Little will tackle Andy Kremner in Manchester, just seven days after his bout with Whitfield in Gateshead, a fight he took at two days’ notice.
“I only got the call last Thursday, which didn’t leave me long to prepare, but the fight went pretty well,” he told the Driffield Times.
“I got edged out on points, but it was an even contest and I enjoyed it as much as any other bout in my career.”
Little is planning to go all out for the win against 23-year-oldKremner, who is unbeaten in five fights.
“This will be my last fight for seven weeks, so I’m going to Manchester aiming to do whatever it takes to win.”
