Scarborough under-11s stayed hot on the heels of Zone One leaders Driffield after beating Cayton by 82 runs.

The victors were indebted to bowler Harry Marcroft, who claimed stunning figures of 7-10 to help restrict Cayton to 202-10 after Scarborough had earlier posted 284-1.

Driffield hammered Scalby by 104 runs to stay at the top of the table.

The leaders made 269-4 before stopping Scalby at 165-10.

Callum Hatton and Isaac Coates had games to remember as Sewerby stayed third in the division with victory against Bridlington.

Sewerby posted 263-4 despite the best efforts of Josh Harvey, 3-7, but the Brid batsmen had no answer to the bowling of Hatton, 5-2, and Coates, 3-6, as they made 169-10 in reply.

Elsewhere in the division, Driffield Girls under-12s, 295-3, beat Cloughton, 268-2, and Forge Valley, 253-4, beat Flixton 246-1.

In Zone Two, Kirkbymoorside stayed unbeaten and top of the pile after beating Snainton by 43 runs.

Oliver Harrison hit 20 as Snainton made 228-5, Louie Jemison, 2-8, Josh Lawson, 2-15, doing the damage after the table-toppers had made 271-2.

Robbie Hoggarth had a game to remember as he starred with bat and ball in Mulgrave’s win against Wykeham.

Hoggarth contributed 18 in Mulgrave’s 256-7, Gwil Hobson taking two wickets, before he grabbed two wickets as Wykeham made 219-7 in reply, Kim Peirson also collecting two wickets.

Duncombe Park A, 240-3, beat their B team, 218-5, by 22 runs, while Nawton Grange beat Pickering C by 14 runs.

Nawton Grange also advanced in the Under-11s Cup after beating Scalby by 81 runs.

Sam Degazon, 2-2, Tom Pickering, 2-3, Edward Stanley, 1-9, and Harvey Jones, 1-10, all collected wickets for Grange.

Kirkbymoorside under-13s made progress in the Under-13s Cup competition after beating Ebberston.

Ebberston posted 87-5 and it looked like they were in with a chance of victory, but Kirkby’ edged over the line eight wickets down.

In Zone One of the under-13s league, the top two met when Driffield took on Sewerby and extended their lead at the top of the table.

Brothers Elliott Hatton, 25, and Callum Hatton, 22, helped Sewerby to 98-3, but Harvey Wilkes, 26, Kieran Gray, 26, and Harry Stabler, 20 not out, guided the table-toppers to the win, for the loss of only three wickets.

Archie Graham hit 28 to help Seamer to a four-wicket win against Flixton.

Ben Chamberlain made 25 as Flixton posted 65-8, but it wasn’t enough to stop Seamer making it to 69-6, Alfie Kendall taking 2-2.

Bridlington, 74-2, beat Cayton, 51-7, by 23 runs in the other clash in the division.

Jed Oyston, 26, and Ben Leeson, 25, both retired before Alex Burton took 2-4 to help them to the win.

Josh Stockill was the star man for Wykeham under-16s as they beat Duncombe Park by 43 runs to stay top of the League.

Tom Poor, 30, and Adam Eustace, 30, both retired in Wykeham’s 108-4, Toby Teasdale taking 2-7.

Stockill then got to work with the ball, his spell of 3-3 helping to restrict Park to 65-9.

Pickering A had too much for Pickering B in their encounter as they registered a 69-run victory.

Morgan Campbell and Matthew Shepherd both retired on 30 as Pickering A posted a strong total of 121-5, Harry Edwards taking 2-11.

James Boyes, 2-6, and Harry Fisher, 3-8, then proved too hot to handle for the B team’s batsmen, who were skittled all out for just 52.
