The final day of the Driffield League season saw Flamborough claim the Premier Division title and Burton Agnes and Crown enjoy success in the cup finals at Queensgate.
Flamborough knew a win over Mermaid United Old Boys would be enough for them to overtake Bridlington Rovers at the top of the table.
The result was never in doubt as they coasted to an 8-0 victory at Gypsey Road.
Rovers’ day then got even worse as Burton Agnes put in a five-star performance to beat them in the John Burchett Challenge Cup final.
Man of the match Dom Richardson netted a hat-trick for Agnes, with Graham Deegan and striker Craig Webb also on target.
Ben Marshall and Lewis Goodacre replied for Rovers., whose manager lee Thomson admitted they didn’t do themselves justice in the final.
Earlier in the day, AFC Crown sprang a surprise in the Arthur Saunderson Trophy final by beating in-form Coachman 1-0.
Crown decided to go with a defensive formation, with just one up front, in a bid to stifle their opponents, who had finished runners-up in Division One.
The tactic paid off and the game got off to a slow start, with both teams cancelling each other out and few clear-cut chances.
Crown goalkeeper Steve Binnington made an excellent double save midway through the first half, and the teams went in goalless at the break.
The first 15 minutes of the second period followed the same pattern, but as the game wore on, Crown began to assert more pressure.
Coachman were reduced to 10 men in the 72nd minute and Crown took full advantage.
They threw on an extra attacker and the positive attitude paid off, just as the tie looked to be heading for extra-time.
Joel Rollinson picked up the ball inside his own half, beat two defenders as he ran down the wing and then found himself one-on-one with Coachman keeper Andrew Waite.
He slotted the ball into the right-hand corner and Crown had just three minutes to hold on to their lead.
Coachman surged forward in search of an equaliser but were unable to beat Binnington, who made a couple of late saves and watched other efforts head off target.
Crown manager Dave Withey said: “We parked the bus and worked for each other all over the park.”
This Saturday sees the Simon Tindall Memorial Day at Bridlington Sports Club.
A Memorial XI takes on a Chris Mitchell XI at 11am and then Burlington Jackdaws U13s take on Scalby at 12:30pm.
