Driffield was the place to go for Freebird Triathlon action at the weekend as almost 300 competitors went for glory.
As well as hosting the Driffield Triathlon, the town also saw a number of youngsters enter the Driffield Junior Tri.
The main event, a 400 metre swim, an 18k cycle and a five kilometre run, was won by Joseph Hudson in a time of 56 minutes and two seconds.
Local man William Atkinson was eight seconds behind, while James Muscart of Mersey Tri club came third.
The first female competitor home was Alison Crelin of Driffield Striders in a time of 1:04.44.
The Tristart junior event, which was a 50 metre swim, a one kilometre cycle and a 600 metre run, was won by Thomas Inman in 11 minutes 45 seconds.
James Chapman held off Harry Butterworth in 33 minutes and 16 seconds to win the 300 metre swim, three kilometre cycle and two kilometre run Tristart Three competition.
Wytchard brothers Rhys and Isaac finished one-two in the Tristart One.
Rhys finished the 100 metre swim, one kilometre cycle and one kilometre run in 17 minutes and five seconds.
The Tristart Two, a 100 metre swim, two kilometre cycle and a one kilometre run, was wom by Amelia Elwick in 13 minutes 57 seconds.
