SANTA CLAUS has been delighting children in Driffield by paying the town an early visit.
The Driffield Rotary Club has carried out its annual Santa’s float collection around the town.
The money collected will help fund the Rotary Club’s work in schools, providing financial support to students and their continued emergency response programmes overseas.
Shirley Williams, president of the Club said: “This year we will be using some of the money collected to support work in our schools, provide bursaries to students studying medicine and music and for the first time offering the Hector and Judy Fraser scholarship for agricultural studies. “We are also working towards a new project creating an award for joinery studies.”
