The first senior cricket cup final of the season will be held on Wednesday night at Flixton.
The final of the Division Five T20 Cayley Cup, sponsored by Murray Browns will take place on July 13 with a 6pm start.
In a break from tradition, this year’s finals will all be played with a pink ball, which will be provided by the league.
The finalists are Forge Valley 3rds and Muston 2nds and an exciting encounter is widely expected.
Forge Valley 3rds are captained by Peter Wannop and possess the hard-hitting Eric Hall in their ranks, plus the bowling of seasoned campaigner Andrew Morrell.
Barry Anderson is captain of Muston 2nds and will be looking for good contributions from batsman Mark Precious and all-rounder Dave Meer.
Both teams are on the fringes of the promotion places so the final looks evenly matched.
Valley beat Scalby 3rds and Thornton Dale 2nds on their way to the final, while Muston overcame Wykeham 3rds and Ravenscar 2nds.
Admission to the game is free, but a raffle will be held on the evening with excellent prizes to be won.
Competition secretary Martin Holmes and Mel Brown of competition sponsors Murray Browns, will present the Murray Brown and Son Trophy following the game, along with a man of the match award, donated by the sponsors.
The umpires for the final are John Wilson and Stuart Barker.
