Driffield boxer Danny Little lost out to unbeaten prospect Ted Cheeseman at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday evening.
The 31-year-old welterweight was stopped in the fifth round of the contest which was on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s IBF World Heavyweight title success over Dominic Breazeale.
Despite the defeat, Little described the experience as “the best of my boxing career.”
“I absolutely loved fighting at the O2 on the card of a really big show,” he added.
“I knew that it was going to be tough for me, but it was a good, entertaining fight against a great kid. I took it to him, but he was very accurate and caught me a lot. I wanted to go out swinging though.”
